The Stargazer Bunny Finds a Shooting Star

On a quiet night in a meadow so wide,
A bunny named Starry sat gazing with pride.
She loved to watch stars as they twinkled and danced,
Hoping that one day she’d see one by chance.

Starry had fur as soft as moonlight,
With eyes that shimmered like stars so bright.
She’d make a wish when the stars would appear,
Dreaming of friendships to hold near and dear.

One evening, a streak lit the velvety sky,
A shooting star zoomed, making Starry cry:
“Oh, what a wonder, so shiny and rare!
I must find this star, it’s beyond compare!”

She hopped through the meadow, her heart full of glee,
Following the trail of where the star might be.
Through bushes and brambles, over streams so clear,
She searched and searched, filled with cheer.

At last, she arrived at a glistening pond,
Where the star lay resting, looking quite fond.
“Hello,” said the star with a twinkling beam,
“Why have you followed my glowing stream?”

Starry replied, her voice full of awe,
“I’ve watched you dance, without a single flaw.
I wished for a friend, one as bright as you,
Together we’d sparkle the whole night through!”

The star softly chuckled, its glow turning warm,
“Friendship, dear bunny, takes many a form.
I’ll join you tonight, we’ll make the night sing,
But true friends are found in the love you bring.”

They danced by the pond, their laughter so sweet,
A bunny and star, in a magical meet.
But when dawn arrived, the star had to part,
Leaving a sparkle deep in Starry’s heart.

Starry returned to her meadow with cheer,
Knowing that friendship was always near.
She found new pals in the creatures around,
Sharing her joy where love could be found.

So when you see a star shoot through the sky,
Remember Starry and her wish to try.
Friendship’s a gift that will always endure,
And in giving your heart, it’s yours for sure.

Goodnight, little dreamer, close your eyes tight,
May your friendships shine with a magical light.
The stars are above, watching over you,
With dreams full of love and adventures, too.
