In a faraway galaxy, so dazzling and bright,
Lived a tiny little star, just a flicker of light.
While others gleamed boldly, all golden and grand,
The littlest star dreamed of a glow that would stand.
She gazed at the moon, so round and so near,
“If I could shine brighter, I’d sparkle like clear!”
But her shimmer was faint, a mere twinkle at best,
She felt like a shadow, lost in the rest.
One night, she sighed, her heart full of dreams,
Wishing her glow would outshine all the beams.
A shooting star passed, trailing silver delight,
“Make a wish, little one, and shine in the night.”

The littlest star whispered, “I wish to be bright,
To glow so intensely, I light up the night.”
The shooting star winked and vanished from view,
Leaving the littlest star’s heart hoping anew.
But days turned to weeks, and her glow stayed the same,
Until one dark evening, a comet then came.
It stopped by her side, its tail trailing flame,
“Why do you sigh, little star? What is your aim?”
The littlest star shared her wish with a tear,
To be brighter, to shine, to outlast all the years.
The comet just smiled, a knowing and wise,
“Perhaps what you seek isn’t found in the skies.”

“Follow me, little star, there’s something to see,
The secret to glowing lies far beyond thee.”
She followed the comet through space wide and vast,
Past planets and nebulae, spinning so fast.
They reached a small planet, shrouded in blue,
Where creatures were crying, with nothing to do.
Their lights had grown dim, their spirits were low,
The littlest star wondered, “How can I help them glow?”
The comet then whispered, “Share what you feel,
Compassion and kindness have the power to heal.”
The littlest star closed her eyes, took a deep breath,
And poured out her glow to banish their stress.

The creatures looked up, their faces now bright,
“Thank you, dear star, for sharing your light!”
And as they all smiled, the star saw her glow,
It had grown tenfold—a radiant show!
The comet just laughed, “Now you see, my dear,
Your biggest wish shines when you banish fear.
For brightness is born not from wishing alone,
But in helping others, your true light is shown.”
The littlest star twinkled, her heart full of glee,
Her glow now a beacon for all stars to see.
No longer the smallest, she knew she’d suffice,
For the biggest of wishes need hearts to suffice.
