Once upon a time, in a world so wide,
Lived a teeny-tiny dragon with a heart full of pride.
His scales were green, with a golden sheen,
The smallest dragon you’ve ever seen!

He lived in a forest, beneath the moon’s glow,
Where fireflies danced and soft winds would blow.
But though the stars would sparkle bright,
The little dragon felt lonely each night.
“I wish I were big,” he whispered in bed,
“With giant wings and flames of red!
Then I’d soar high and touch the sky,
And everyone’d cheer as I flew by!”
The next morning, with the sun’s warm ray,
The little dragon set out to find his way.
Through sparkling streams and meadows bright,
He sought the answer to his wish last night.

He met a wise owl perched on a tree,
“Tell me, oh owl, how big can I be?”
The owl just chuckled, his feathers so gray,
“Your heart’s what matters at the end of the day!”
The dragon sighed and walked some more,
Till he reached the edge of the sandy shore.
A shimmering fish in the crystal sea
Said, “True strength lies in being uniquely thee!”
Still, the dragon wished, “Just for a night,
To grow so tall and feel the might.”
And as stars appeared, so bright and clear,
A kind fairy whispered, “I’m here, my dear.”

With a sprinkle of stardust and a gentle sigh,
The teeny dragon grew wings to the sky!
He soared and twirled, his heart so light,
Finally big under the moonlit night.
But as he flew, he saw below,
A baby rabbit lost in the meadow’s glow.
He landed gently, his wings spread wide,
And led the rabbit to its mother’s side.
As dawn arrived, his size shrank back,
But the dragon felt no sense of lack.
For he’d learned that love and kindness bring
A heart that’s big—bigger than anything!

So each night now, beneath the stars’ soft glow,
The teeny-tiny dragon lets his heart grow.
For whether you’re big or whether you’re small,
Being kind and brave is the best of all.
